CanSpace respects the privacy of visitors to this website. Your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by CanSpace only in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Personal information is defined as information about an identifiable individual, with the exception of business contact information such as a job title or work-related telephone number, postal address, or email address.
CanSpace does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
By accessing CanSpace's website or using our services, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in this privacy policy.

Automatically Collected Information
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information from your web browser, including your IP address, the address of the website you are coming from, pages visited, time spent on our website, your operating system and browser software, and search engine keywords used to find our website. This information is used solely to improve the content and functionality of our website and is not tied to individual visitors unless required for investigating a security breach.

CanSpace uses your personal information for the following purposes:
- Providing, maintaining, and administering the services you have purchased
- Processing payments and sending invoices
- Communicating with you about your account, services, and support requests
- Sending renewal reminders and service notifications

The personal information you provide is never sold or traded to other organizations or companies. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except in the following circumstances:

- To protect the rights, property, or safety of CanSpace, our clients, or others
- To third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as domain registrars, payment processors, or datacenter operators), who are given only the information necessary for their services and are required to adhere to privacy procedures that keep personal information confidential
- During emergencies when safety is at risk
CanSpace may share non-personal or aggregate information that does not identify you with partners or other third parties.
Domain Registration and WHOIS Data
When you register a domain name through CanSpace, certain information (such as registrant name, organization, address, phone number, and email address) is required by the relevant domain registry (such as CIRA for .ca domains, or ICANN-accredited registries for other TLDs). This information may be published in the public WHOIS directory, subject to the policies of the applicable registry.
For .ca domains, CIRA provides automatic WHOIS privacy for Canadian individuals - your personal contact details are not published in the WHOIS directory by default. For other domain extensions, WHOIS privacy protection is available as an optional addon to mask your personal contact details from public view.
CanSpace has no control over the WHOIS data policies of third-party registries. We recommend enabling WHOIS privacy where available if you wish to limit the public disclosure of your personal information.
Data Storage and Security
CanSpace Solutions Inc is a Canadian company, and all of our servers are located in Canadian datacenters. All personal information and client data collected by CanSpace is stored exclusively on Canadian soil. There is no cross-border data transfer - your data does not leave Canada at any time during storage, processing, or backup.
CanSpace uses appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy of personal information, including encryption for the transmission of sensitive data such as credit card details, usernames, and passwords. These safeguards are designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. Your records are accessible only to authorized staff located in Canada as necessary to provide services.
We ask that you do not send or disclose to us any sensitive personal information such as social insurance numbers, health information, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, or religious beliefs. CanSpace does not require this type of information to provide its services.
Data Retention
Your account information is stored in our secure systems for as long as you are a CanSpace client and as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. When personal information is no longer required, it will be deleted or destroyed in ways that ensure the continued privacy of that information.
