Tell us a little bit about yourself and where you are located.
I’m the Marketing and Design Director, and owner, at Clear Image. We’re a marketing agency based in Toronto and working with primarily Canadian small and medium-sized business clients (and a few large and international brands).
What is Clear Image?
Clear Image (https://www.clearimage.ca) delivers customized marketing and design solutions for small businesses. We act as full-service a marketing and design team for businesses that either don’t have their own in-house marketing department, or where their team requires external services or specialized skills.
Why did you get into this line of work? What’s the best thing about it?
My background is in broadcasting, having worked for some of the largest media companies in Canada. Through that experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands big and small, from local companies to national corporations, to craft and execute carefully planned promotional campaigns and reach big audiences. After a successful career in the broadcast industry, I wanted to launch my own marketing agency, utilizing my skills and network of freelance experts to help small and medium enterprises grow their business. My favourite thing about this job is being able to find creative solutions to help our customers succeed. The passion that our clients have for their business is what motivates us to help them reach their goals. When they succeed, we succeed.
What does it take to be successful at what you do?
Every client and their business is unique, so our solutions also need to be fully customized. We know our clients will always be the experts at what they do, but we want to understand (almost) as much as they do about their business. By learning everything about what makes their brand unique, who their customers are, what their challenges and opportunities are, we can create tailored services to help them reach their goals. It really is a team effort and we celebrate our client’s successes and our part in contributing to those achievements.
How does CanSpace solve the objectives you have for Clear Image?
Everything we do is also designed to make things easier and stress-free for our clients. They are busy business owners with loads of responsibilities, so our job is to make sure they don’t have to worry about their marketing. An ever-increasing part of that is their online presence. By partnering with CanSpace Solutions to offer hosting services for our clients, we’re able to bring those needs into our portfolio and provide website hosting, email and domain registration for our clients so they simply have one point of contact and we can manage all their products directly.
