I have all my .ca domains with CanSpace for many years now and decided to finally move my hosting over to them after consistently receiving great support. Yes. If you're coming from another cPanel-based provider, we can restore as many cPanel backups as you need on reseller plans - free of charge. Simply generate full cPanel backups from your current host, and we'll restore them on our servers. There is no downtime during the process.

You handle client billing yourself using whatever tools you prefer - WHMCS, FreshBooks, invoices, or any other billing method. CanSpace only bills the reseller (you). How you charge your clients and how much you charge them is entirely up to you.
Yes. If a client outgrows your reseller plan or wants to manage their own hosting directly, we can move their cPanel account to a standalone CanSpace hosting plan without downtime or data loss. Just open a support ticket and we'll handle it.
Reseller plans give you WHM control over hosting accounts, but not root or OS-level access. If you need full server control, custom software, or Docker, you'll want a VPS or dedicated server with cPanel instead.
Yes - you can upgrade at any time with no downtime. Upgrades are done on the fly, and prices are pro-rated so you only pay the difference for the remainder of your billing cycle.
Yes. Domain registrant contact information is set per domain and can be your client's details. You remain the billing account holder at CanSpace, but your client is listed as the legal registrant of their domain.
