Every week, thousands of expired .CA domains get released back into the market through what’s called the TBR process.
TBR stands for To Be Released.
When a .CA domain name is not renewed by its owner, remains unclaimed and eventually expires, it is scheduled for release by CIRA.
At that point, it becomes available for registration during a special period every Wednesday at 2PM EST.
